Refund Policy

1. Free Consultation

No charge applies. No refund needed or applicable.

2. Discovery & Strategy ($500–$3,000)

Non-refundable once discovery work has commenced. You will receive your full written roadmap and documentation regardless of whether you proceed to a build engagement with us.

For the avoidance of doubt, “work has commenced” means any of the following: a kickoff call has been held, discovery questionnaires have been sent or received, any research or analysis has been conducted, or any written work product has been produced, whichever occurs first. TangentX will provide written confirmation within 24 hours of commencement of work.

3. Custom website and software builds

• The 50% deposit is non-refundable once design or development work has commenced
• The remaining balance is structured around project milestones; where a milestone has not yet been commenced, that portion may be refunded
• Scope changes requested by the client after design sign-off are subject to a written change order and may affect cost and timeline

4. Monthly and annual subscriptions (AI agents, ongoing support, hosting)

• Cancel at any time with written notice
• No refund is issued for the current billing period already paid
• No early termination fee or cancellation penalty applies
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period

5. How to request a refund

Email hello@tangentxtech.comwith subject line “Refund Request” and include your name, company, and project reference. We will acknowledge within 2 business days and, if approved, process the refund within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.

6. Disputes

If you believe a refund has been incorrectly denied, you may escalate by emailing hello@tangentxtech.comwith subject “Refund Dispute”. We will review and respond within 5 business days.
